How to rename UPI ID?

You can rename or change your UPI ID by adding a new one through your UPI-enabled application. While you cannot technically edit an existing ID, you can create a personalized identifier and set it as your primary ID.

• Open your UPI app and tap on your profile icon.
• Navigate to UPI and Payment Settings or Manage Bank Accounts.
• Select the specific bank account and look for an option to add or create a new UPI ID.
• Choose your desired name from the available suggestions or enter a unique one.
• Once created, you can activate it and delete any old or unwanted UPI IDs.
