How long does it take to resolve a complaint with NPCI?

The time it takes to resolve a complaint with NPCI depends on the stage of escalation. Initial resolution by the App Level (TPAP) generally takes 3–5 working days. If escalated further, the PSP Bank stage adds another 3–5 days. For complex disputes requiring NPCI Final Review, resolution may take 7–10 working days. If the issue remains unresolved after 30 days, it can be escalated to the RBI's banking ombudsman.
