Can we use UPI with a credit card?

Yes, you can use UPI with a credit card, but this facility is currently restricted to RuPay credit cards. According to NPCI guidelines, you can link your eligible RuPay credit card to a UPI application to make instant merchant payments.

• Only RuPay network credit cards can be linked; Visa and Mastercard are not supported for this feature yet.
• Payments are allowed only for merchant transactions (P2M) by scanning QR codes and not for personal fund transfers (P2P).
• Users must set a UPI PIN to authorize these credit card transactions securely.
