You can check your credit score directly from any of the four licensed Credit Information Companies (CICs) in India: CIBIL, Equifax, Experian, and High Mark. Additionally, many trusted banks, financial institutions, and digital platforms offer free credit score checks, often with monthly updates. As a consumer, you are entitled to a free full credit report from each of the four CICs once per year. Checking your own score is considered a 'soft inquiry' and will not negatively impact your credit standing.
