How to write dd cheque

To write a cheque for a Demand Draft (DD), you should address it to yourself or use your bank's name. Follow these steps:

• In the Pay line, write "Yourself for DD" or the bank’s name.
• Specify the exact DD amount plus bank charges in both words and figures.
• Clearly mention the payee's name and the city where the DD is payable in the space provided or on the reverse side.
• Sign the cheque as per bank records.
• Submit this cheque along with a filled DD application form at your bank branch.
