To fill a cheque in an Indian bank correctly, follow these steps:

• Date: Enter the date in the DD/MM/YYYY format in the top-right corner.
• Payee: Write the recipient's full name clearly on the line starting with Pay.
• Amount in Words: Write the amount in words followed by only to prevent tampering.
