How to fill cheque for self

To fill a self-cheque for cash withdrawal or internal fund transfer in India, follow these steps:

• Date: Write the current date in the DD/MM/YYYY format in the top-right corner.
• Payee: Write Self in the Pay line or enter your full name as it appears in bank records.
• Amount: Mention the amount in words starting with Rupees and ending with Only. Write the same amount in figures in the box provided, followed by a /- symbol.
• Signature: Sign the cheque at the bottom-right corner as per your bank's registered signature.
