How to fill cheque for electricity bill

To fill out a cheque for an electricity bill, follow these steps:

• Write the current date in the DD/MM/YYYY format in the top right corner.
• Write the name of the electricity board or utility provider on the line that says Pay.
• Enter the exact bill amount in figures in the box on the right, starting close to the ₹ symbol.
• Write the amount in words below the payee's name, ending with the word only.
• Mention your consumer account number on the memo line at the bottom left.
• Sign your name in the bottom right corner exactly as it appears in bank records.
