We strongly believe that health and well-being are the cornerstones of a productive and fulfilling work life. As part of our continued commitment to wellness, we recently organized a thought-provoking session on “Cancer Prevention and Early Detection,” led by Dr. Loveleen Johri from Secmeds, Delhi. The session focused on creating awareness around one of the most pressing health concerns in India today, Cancer, and highlighted the crucial role that early detection and preventive care can play in improving outcomes.
Dr. Johri’s session shed light on several important facts—most notably, that cancer can often be prevented or treated more successfully when identified early. Factors like tobacco use, poor diet, lack of physical activity, and delayed medical checkups are major contributors. By making simple lifestyle changes and prioritizing regular screenings, we can significantly reduce our risk.
With lifestyle changes, environmental stressors, and limited awareness contributing to a sharp increase in cases, the need for timely diagnosis and education is more important than ever. Despite medical advances, many cases still go undetected until it’s too late. She mentioned why it’s critical to understand the warning signs and risks associated with the most common cancers.
These insights reinforce our ongoing efforts to promote a culture of preventive health. We continue to lead from the front by organizing regular health awareness sessions, mindfulness and yoga programs, and direct interactions with health experts. We have partnered with leading hospital chains such as Fortis, Max, Apollo, Medanta, and Motherhood across India to provide comprehensive health checkups at our office campuses, along with regional discounts and exclusive offers. These initiatives are designed to benefit Paytmers, ensuring each one has the opportunity to take proactive steps toward better health.
Our commitment to wellness goes beyond physical health. We actively encourage work-life balance, mental well-being, and regular engagement with employees to assess their comfort, workload, and overall satisfaction. These wellness sessions and healthcare tie-ups are a reflection of how deeply we care about Paytmers. The cancer awareness session concluded with an engaging Q&A, allowing Paytmers to ask questions about symptoms, risk factors, and screening options.
By equipping with the right knowledge and support, we continue to build a healthier, more informed workplace—one that values Paytmers over everything else.
