World’s Top FinTech Companies (2024)
A pioneer of mobile payments, Paytm has achieved significant recognition this year, securing a place on CNBC and Statista’s prestigious World’s Top FinTech Companies 2024 list. Adding to this honor, Paytm has also been named one of the Best Employers Asia-Pacific 2025 by the Financial Times and Statista, highlighting its commitment to innovation and excellence in workplace culture.
We were also conferred the Payments Solution Award (India), Financial Inclusion, Best Fintech App. It was felicitated at the Asian Banking & Finance Fintech Awards 2024, FinTech India Innovation Awards, Effie Awards, IAMAI 14th India Digital Awards 2024, ET Shark Awards 2024, respectively.

Our Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Vijay Shekhar Sharma is a visionary entrepreneur and a proud believer of the Digital India movement. Among the numerous awards garnered, he was recognised as the CEO of the Year, Great Indian Best Innovation Changemaker of the Year, CSR Icon of the Year Award, CSR Leadership Awards at the 9th edition of Assocham Tech Meet & Technology Excellence Awards, 3rd India Sustainability Conclave & Awards 2024, Apex India Foundation, and Corporate Social Responsibility Summit & Awards 2024, respectively.
Innovation in Digital Transformation
Our innovative, affordable IoT payment device Paytm Soundbox achieved the Innovation in Digital Transformation, Outstanding innovation and excellence in emerging technologies in the fintech category, Best Eco-friendly Product of the Year, Best Use of AI in the DevOps category. It received the awards at the 14th edition of Aegis Graham Bell Awards, Republic Business Emerging Technology Award 2024, ESG Summit and Awards 2024 and 2nd Annual India DevOps Show 2023, respectively.
Our pioneering device is for every business including the small and micro-merchants in India, and plays a pivotal role in enabling safe and secure digital transactions. Our recently-launched unique portable device, Paytm Pocket Soundbox, is a disruptive product for the mobile merchants. Empowering merchants who are always on the move with instant audio payment alerts, the device has received the E4M Indian Marketing Awards (IMA) and Asian Banking & Finance Fintech Awards 2024.
Most Inclusive Organisation of the Year (2024)
Paytm won the Economic Times HR EX (Employee Experience) Awards 2024 in the ‘Exceptional Employee Experience – Large Scale’ category. Adding to this achievement, we were awarded the Gold Award at the Apex India HR Excellence Awards 2024. We also secured a win at the BW People L&D Excellence Awards 2024 in the Best Learning Culture Initiative category. Paytm also bagged the Most Inclusive Organization of the Year and Gender Equality Campaign of the Year at the 6th Diversity & Inclusion Summit & Awards 2024.
Paytm Foundation won the Nasscom Foundation TechForGood Awards 2024 in the ‘Corporate For Social Impact’. It also received the 6th Indian Chamber of Commerce Social Impact Summit & Awards 2024 for Clear Air initiative. It also bagged the ESG Summit and Awards 2024 for Best Initiative to Reduce Carbon Footprint.
Best Product/ Service Innovation of the Year (2024)
Our commitment to innovation, responsible business practices, and excellence in travel technology and social media bagged us the Use of MarTech for Social Media Marketing at the FE’s BrandWagon MarTech Awards 2024. Our campaign Free Flight Tickets to Ayodhya received BW Merit Awards 2024 and ET Travel and Tourism Annual Awards 2024. Our one-stop equity investing and trading platform, Paytm Money, received awards in the Best Product/ Service Innovation of the Year-AMC/ MF/ BF/ WMC at the ETBFSI Exceller Awards 2024.
