We have partnered with Tripura Road Transport Corporation (TRTC) enabling passengers to buy tickets digitally via Paytm UPI or by swiping their debit/credit card at Paytm card machines at TRTC’s bus, TRTC Helicopter, TRTC Railways, and TRTC Air ticket counters.

Additionally, we, along with TRTC, will offer e-ticketing facilities for bus passengers. In order to offer convenience, we will also deploy Paytm Soundbox, an innovative audio device which helps merchants with instant voice notifications for payments. It allows merchants to keep track of payments, and prevents false confirmations and customer fraud.

This collaboration will save passengers from the hassles of a ticket counter line while traveling via bus, train, or flight in Tripura. For this, commuters have to simply scan a QR code displayed on the our Paytm card machine and pay via Paytm UPI, Paytm UPI Lite or Paytm Wallet.

“Our partnership with Tripura Road Transport Corporation would bring convenience of mobile payments for passengers in the state of Tripura. Paytm’s innovative payment products such as Soundbox and Paytm card machines will help commuters with seamless travel.”
