• AY: This type of ration card is issued under the Annapurna Yojana to people above the age of 65 years who have no source of income. Such ration card holders are entitled to 10 kilograms of rice every month.

Step 3: Next, select the ‘FPS Wise Linkage of Ration Card’ option.

Step 1:Visit the official website of the Department of Food, Supplies and Consumer Affairs, GNCT of Delhi at https://nfs.delhigovt.nic.in/Home.aspx

Step 2:Go to the ‘Citizen’s Corner’ and scroll down to the list of options being displayed.  

Step 3:Next, select the ‘Apply online for food security’ option. 

Step 4:You will be redirected to an e-district page. 

Step 5:Next, you will need to register as a user by entering the details prompted. If you are already registered, enter your login details.

Step 6:If you are registering as a new user, a registration form will open on your screen after you click on the ‘Register’ option. 

Step 7:Enter the details prompted and complete the registration process.

Step 8:Now, select ‘New Ration Card Registration Form’ option.

Step 9:A registration form for a new ration card will appear on your screen, fill in all the details required.

Step 10:Next, click on the ‘Upload Documents’ option and upload scanned copies of all supporting documents required. 

Step 11:Once all documents are uploaded, click on the ‘Submit’ option.

Documents Required for Ration Card Application Online

In order to apply for your NFS Delhi ration card, you are required to submit the following documents:

• House rent receipt of the house you want the ration card to be issued for
• Electricity bills of the address you want the ration card to be issued at
• Passport-size photograph of each member of the family you want to be enrolled in the ration card. These photos need to be attested by a gazetted officer.
• Bank passbook
• Telephone bill

Step 2:On the homepage menu bar, select the option ‘Download forms’.

Step 3:Next, click on ‘Download’ against the option Form to Modify Details in Ration Card.

Step 4:Enter all the details requested in the form and the details you wish to have changed.

Step 5:Attach copies of all documents supporting your revised details and submit the form at your nearest ration office.

Step 4:Next, enter the details prompted – Aadhaar number, new ration card number, National Financial Switch (NFS) application ID, online citizen ID, and old ration card number.

Step 6:Your ration card application status will be displayed on the screen. 

How to Download Ration Card in Delhi

If you wish to download your e-ration card online, you need to follow the below mentioned steps:

Step 1:Visit the official website of the Department of Food, Supplies and Consumer Affairs, GNCT of Delhi at https://nfs.delhigovt.nic.in/Home.aspx

Step 2:Enter your ration card Delhi login details.

Step 3:On the homepage, choose the tab ‘Citizen Corner’.

Step 4:Next, select the ‘Get e-Ration Card’ option.

Step 5:Enter the details that are prompted – ration card number, name of the head of the family, Aadhaar number of the head of the family, National Financial Switch (NFS) ID, date of birth and the registered mobile number that was used at the time of registration. 

Step 6:Next, click on ‘Submit’.

Step 7:The e-Ration Card will be displayed on the screen and you can download it by selecting the ‘Download’ option.
