A personalised UPI ID makes it easier to share your payment details and receive money without giving out your mobile number. You can easily create a unique and memorable ID directly through the Paytm App.
Here are the simple steps to create your personalised UPI ID using the Paytm App:
- Step 1: Open the Paytm App and tap on the Profile Icon (your display picture or initials) at the top left of the home screen.
- Step 2: On the profile screen, scroll down and tap on ‘UPI & Payment Settings’ (usually below the QR code/Share options).
- Step 3: Next to your existing UPI ID, tap on ‘View’ (on the right side).
- Step 4: On the ‘Manage UPI ID’ screen, tap on ‘Try Personalised UPI ID’ (it may be labelled as ‘Create your personalised UPI ID now’).
- Step 5: Choose your preferred UPI ID from the suggested options (or enter a custom one to check availability) and tap ‘Confirm’.
Your new personalised UPI ID is now set as your primary ID!
