Our associate Paytm Payments Bank Limited (PPBL) has enabled convenient payments for car parking at the AAI authorised Pune Airport using FASTag. It has partnered with Parkwiz, an e-parking service, to offer convenient and digital payment at airport parking. This will be the first multi level car parking to be enabled with FASTag based parking solutions in Pune. This will reduce the time for passengers waiting to enter or exit the terminal, helping them to save fuel and commute time.
With this partnership, cars entering the airport would be able to pay digitally via FASTag with near free flow movement in and out of the parking lot. This would lead to faster parking payments thus decongesting overall operations for Pune Airport multi level car parking. Paying via Paytm FASTag will help to cut down cash transactions, encourage digital payments, and minimise the queues while entering or exiting the airport.
PPBL is the largest issuer of FASTags in the country and is also one of the largest acquirers of toll and parking plazas for the National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC) program, offering an interoperable nationwide toll and parking payment solution.
