Paytm Introduces Total Balance Check for UPI-Linked Bank Accounts with Real-Time Balance Display

Paytm has introduced a new feature to enhance user convenience—Total Balance Check for UPI-linked bank accounts.

Now, users with multiple bank accounts linked via UPI on the Paytm app can view the total balance across all accounts in one consolidated view. This eliminates the need for switching between apps or manually calculating balances and makes everyday money management simpler and faster.

What Does the Feature Do?

Previously, users had to check the balance of each bank account individually and manually add them up to get an overall view. With this Total Balance View, Paytm securely fetches individual bank balances post UPI PIN verification and dynamically displays the total balance upfront.

This is especially useful for users who maintain multiple bank accounts for different purposes such as salary credit, savings, or regular spending, and often lose track of their overall finances.

How to View Total Balance on Paytm

Follow these simple steps to check your total and individual bank balances on the Paytm app:

1. Open the Paytm app and navigate to the “Balance & History” section
2. Link your UPI-enabled bank accounts, if not already linked
3. Once linked, check the account balance for each linked account one by one by entering your secured UPI PIN
4. At the top of the screen, the app will automatically calculate and display the total balance across all linked accounts every time a balance is checked
