In our relentless pursuit of innovation and leadership in the mobile payment sector, we have earned the trust and loyalty of India’s most-loved retail brands by continually enhancing convenience and efficiency for merchants in their daily operations. We consider merchants to be our biggest strength, and these merchants have always shown support towards our innovative products, standing by us from every corner of India.

On Tuesday, we took a major leap forward towards democratising merchant access to cutting-edge payment technologies by launching our latest innovation the ‘NFC Card Soundbox’.

In a recent live discussion, our Founder and CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma, along with Chief Business Officer for Offline Payments Ripunjai Gaur, unveiled the new device and engaged with some of India’s most renowned merchants across 10 cities, including Amritsar, Agra, Lucknow, Bengaluru, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Haridwar.

The NFC Card Soundbox brings secure NFC card-reading technology to even the smallest retailer, equipping them with one affordable device for comprehensive payment acceptance, across credit or debit cards and UPI. It supports all major card networks, including RuPay, Mastercard, American Express, Visa, integrating various payment methods and empowering merchants to accept digital transactions from a wider customer base.

Revolutionsing Payments—One Merchant at a Time

They also shared their transformative experiences, highlighting the positive impact of partnering with Paytm.

Popular merchant partner Bengali Sweet House mentioned that now 80% of the payments at his shop are done through Paytm.

“We have started using the device, and we are really very happy, and so are our customers. The dual feature of the app—where you can tap and also use the QR code—is incredibly convenient. We’re thrilled to offer our customers a hassle-free payment experience with Paytm!”
