The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has given relief to GST taxpayers in parts of Maharashtra by extending the deadline for filing FORM GSTR-3B for July 2025.
As per Notification No. 12/2025–Central Tax dated 20th August 2025, the due date has been extended to 27th August 2025. This decision comes after continuous heavy rains and disruption of public life in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
The extension applies to taxpayers whose principal place of business is registered in the following districts:
Districts Covered: Mumbai City, Mumbai Suburban, Thane, Raigad, Palghar
Taxpayers in these districts are urged to make use of this relief and ensure timely filing of their returns within the extended date to avoid late fees and penalties.
