Finding and purchasing the right health insurance policy is easy with the Paytm App. You can compare plans from multiple insurers, view detailed coverage, and complete your purchase securely in a few simple steps.
- Step 1: Open the Paytm App and tap on the Search Button (magnifying glass icon) at the top right of the screen.
- Step 2: Type ‘Health Insurance’ in the search bar and select ‘Health Insurance’ under services.
- Step 3: Choose who you want to insure (e.g., Only me, Me & my spouse, Me, my spouse & 1 child, etc.).
- Step 4: Select the age band of the oldest member being insured.
- Step 5: Tap ‘View Plans’ to see suggested plans.
- Step 6: Select your desired cover amount (e.g., ₹3 Lakh, ₹5 Lakh, ₹10 Lakh, etc.).
- Step 7: Select your preferred insurer from the list of available options.
- Step 8: (Optional) To compare detailed features, tap ‘Compare Plans’ at the top right.
- Step 9: (Optional) View coverage details (like cashless hospitals, room rent limits, co-pay) for all insurers side-by-side.
- Step 10: (Optional) Tap ‘Got it’ to return to the plans list.
- Step 11: (Optional) To compare prices of the policy with other insurers, tap ‘Compare price with other insurers’.
- Step 12: Select the insurer (if you returned to the main screen) and tap ‘Proceed’.
- Step 13: Select how you want to pay the premium (Annually or Monthly) and tap ‘Proceed’.
- Step 14: Share your details (Full Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Address) and the details of all members you want to cover. Tap ‘Proceed’.
- Step 15: Agree with the health declaration (confirming you don’t have any of the listed pre-existing diseases), and complete the payment to finalize the purchase.
