The National Stock Exchange (NSE) is known as India’s largest stock exchange. It is known as the first stock exchange to introduce a computerized trading system in our country. The NSE started its operation in 1994. In terms of yearly equity trading turnover, the World Federation of Exchanges is recognized as the largest stock exchange in India. The NSE offers a cohesive trading module, which consists of technology-oriented services, data feed offerings, clearing and settlement services, services for financial literacy, online trading services, etc.
The National Stock Exchange is open for trading from 9:15 AM – 3:30 PM (normal session) on weekdays and remains closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
