    Understanding Scalar Chain

Scalar Chain is a principle that emphasizes a clear and structured line of communication within an organization. Developed by Henri Fayol, in Scalar Chain communication flows through a hierarchical structure from the highest authority to the immediate junior teammate. Through this upward and downward flow of communication between the employees and persons in authority, Scalar Chain maintains a clear flow of information to avoid any confusion and misunderstanding across various departments of the organization.
