The CASA Ratio shows the percentage of a bank’s total deposits that come from Current and Savings Accounts.

Formula

CASA Ratio = (CASA Deposits / Total Deposits) × 100

Importance

A higher CASA Ratio means the bank gets cheaper funds, which improves its profit margin. It’s a key indicator of a bank’s financial health.
