We have launched Split Bills on the Paytm app this Friendship Day, helping friends track, split and settle shared expenses in one place. Designed for friend groups, college students, Gen Z and young professionals, it helps manage shared spending across road trips, birthday celebrations, weekend brunches, movie nights, online food orders, shopping and other group plans.
Shared moments should be remembered, not spent calculating who owes whom. With Paytm Split Bills, friends can create a group, add every shared expense and settle dues through Paytm UPI, keeping the complete group expense history together on the Paytm app.
What is Paytm Split Bills?
Paytm Split Bills is a new feature on the Paytm app that helps friends manage group expenses and settle dues through Paytm UPI. Friends can create a group, add each expense and choose whether to divide it equally, by exact amount, shares or percentage.
The group summary shows the total amount spent, each person’s share, pending balances, amounts to pay or receive and recent activity. Payment reminders can be sent directly from the Paytm app, while dues can be settled through Paytm UPI with the amount and recipient details already filled in.
Unlimited Expense Entries at No Cost
Paytm Split Bills offers unlimited expense entries at no cost, without entry limits, paid upgrades or additional charges. Friends can create groups and add unlimited shared expenses for trips, meals, movies, shopping, fuel and other group plans.
Expenses paid through Paytm UPI, other payment apps, cash, cards or any other method can be recorded in the same group, keeping the complete shared expense history together. Payments settled separately can also be marked as received.
Split Expenses Your Way and Settle Through Paytm UPI
Every group is different, and so is the way friends share costs. With Paytm Split Bills, expenses can be split equally, by exact amount, shares or percentage, with a clear view of who needs to pay or receive money.
- Track shared expenses: Record expenses paid through Paytm UPI, other payment apps, cash or cards in one place.
