We are thrilled to announce that our voluntary initiative – Financial Literacy and our project Shikshit Bharat have been recognised at the 11th Edition Corporate Social Responsibility Summit & Awards 2024 in New Delhi. Financial Literacy was awarded Best Social Welfare Initiative, while Shikshit Bharat was recognised for Innovation in CSR Practices.

The UBS Forums’ CSR Summit celebrates companies dedicated to creating positive social change and advancing environmental sustainability. These accolades highlight our continued commitment to driving meaningful impact in the communities we serve.

Our Financial Literacy program, spearheaded by our CSR arm Paytm Foundation, focuses on empowering women with the knowledge and skills needed to make informed financial decisions. We believe that financial literacy is key to fostering economic empowerment and social progress. By bridging the knowledge gap, we have helped women across India create budgets, save for the future, and lay the foundation for financial independence.

With the help of various non-profit organisations and Paytmers, we’ve reached over 1,000 women through impactful sessions. We even curated a special course for women, led by Paytmers who volunteered to share their financial expertise. As a leader in finance, we ensured these sessions delivered actionable insights and practical training for real-world financial management.

Similarly, our Shikshit Bharat initiative aims to promote education and support the overall development of underprivileged children in India. The program focuses on providing access to quality education, infrastructure, and digital resources for children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. We’ve established computer labs, e-libraries, and other educational facilities to create a conducive learning environment for students.

We have donated laptops and desktops, impacting the lives of over 7,500 students. These digital resources equip children with essential life skills and vocational training, empowering them to seize better opportunities in the future.

Receiving these awards validates the impact of our efforts, setting new benchmarks for empowering women and children through financial education and digital literacy. As we move forward, we remain dedicated to promoting inclusiveness, creating awareness, and driving social progress.

We are on a mission to further empower communities, and we will continue working towards enhancing literacy and development opportunities for underprivileged women and children.
