
Buying a gift voucher and not seeing it reflected immediately in your passbook! Here is what you have to do:
Payment is Pending: Even if your bank is debited, the transaction is often "in-process." The voucher won't appear until the final confirmation is received by Paytm.
Action: Wait for 15-30 minutes. For gift vouchers, a slight delay is normal, especially during peak hours.
Passbook Not Refreshed: The voucher might be generated, but the app view is delayed.
Action: Close and reopen the Paytm app completely and check the "Gift Vouchers" section again.
Delivered Directly: Check your SMS inbox and registered email—the code is often sent there first.
Payment Reversal: If the voucher doesn't appear after a few hours, the transaction has likely failed.
Action: Your debited amount will be automatically refunded to your bank account, which usually takes 3 to 7 working days.
Wait & Check: Give it at least 30 minutes. Check your SMS/Email for the code and your Bank Statement for the final status.
Reach Out to Customer Support: If the voucher is NOT delivered and the money is NOT auto-refunded after 7 working days, you must contact Paytm/your Bank's customer support with the Transaction ID.
