Important: Paytm Wallet Status
It is important to note that the Paytm Wallet service is currently no longer available.
Consequently, any transactions made or attempted through the Wallet will not be successfully completed.
Action Steps for Deducted Amount
If an amount was deducted from your wallet for a failed transaction:
- Automatic Reversal: The deducted amount is typically held temporarily by the payment system and will be automatically reversed back to your source wallet/account. This process may take a few minutes up to 48 hours to reflect.
- Lodge Complaint (If Delayed): If the amount is not reversed within 48 hours, use the 'Help & Support' section within the Paytm app, select the failed transaction, and raise a formal complaint with the Transaction ID.
