Will UPI work on 1st April?

UPI services will generally work on April 1st. However, the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has directed banks to remove UPI IDs linked to inactive mobile numbers starting from this date due to security concerns over potential fraud. Users must ensure the mobile number registered with their UPI service, which could include the Paytm app, is active and updated with their bank records to avoid temporary disruption.
