Who gave UPI to India?

The Unified Payments Interface (UPI) was launched by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) in 2016. The pilot launch occurred on April 11, 2016, and was inaugurated by Dr. Raghuram G Rajan, the then Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). UPI is a real-time instant inter-bank payment system.
