UPI-ATM withdrawal, also called Interoperable Cardless Cash Withdrawal (ICCW), is supported by ATMs enabled by acquirer banks and white-label ATM operators (WLAOs) that are part of the National Financial Switch (NFS) network. Many major banks function as either issuer and acquirer banks (e.g., SBI, Bank of Baroda) or acquirer-only banks (e.g., ICICI, PNB), allowing customers of any UPI-enabled bank to withdraw cash cardlessly by scanning a dynamic QR code.
