What is UPI Collect?

UPI Collect is a payment request initiated by a payee or merchant to a user's Virtual Payment Address (VPA). Unlike standard push payments, the recipient receives a notification to authorize a specific amount.

• The request appears in the pending or collect section of the UPI app.
• The user must review the requester's details and amount before proceeding.
• To complete the transaction, the user must enter their secure UPI PIN.
• Users can decline suspicious or unauthorized requests to safeguard their funds.
