What is the new UPI limit per day?

The standard daily transaction limit for UPI is ₹1,00,000, as set by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) for most Person-to-Person (P2P) and Person-to-Merchant (P2M) payments. However, UPI limits have been increased for certain special categories. For applications related to the Initial Public Offer (IPO) and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Retail Direct Scheme, the daily limit is ₹5,00,000. Additionally, specific institutions like hospitals and educational institutions also benefit from the ₹5,00,000 limit.
