What is a UPI PIN in Paytm?

A UPI PIN (Unified Payments Interface Personal Identification Number) is a secure 4 or 6-digit numeric password used to authorize transactions in the Paytm app. It is created by the user during the initial bank account linking process. This PIN acts as a digital signature to authenticate fund transfers, bill payments, and merchant transactions. For security reasons, you must enter this PIN to complete any payment, ensuring only the account holder can move funds.
