Is UPI limit increased to 5 lakhs?

The UPI per-transaction limit has been increased to Rs 5 lakh, but this is applicable only to select categories. The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) raised the limit for tax payments and 12 other categories, which include capital markets, insurance, collections, and travel. For most other transactions, the standard UPI limit remains unchanged.
