Is it safe to share UPI ID?

It is generally safe to share your UPI ID (Virtual Payment Address or VPA) as it is only used to receive money. It does not provide access to your bank account directly. However, never share your UPI PIN or OTP (One-Time Password) with anyone, as these are required to authorize transactions or link accounts. Only share your ID when you expect to receive a payment.
