How to pay income tax through UPI?

You can pay your income tax using UPI through the official e-Filing portal of the Income Tax Department.

• Visit the official portal at incometax.gov.in and select the e-Pay Tax option.
• Enter your PAN or TAN details and verify with a mobile OTP.
• Choose the appropriate Assessment Year and payment type, such as Self-Assessment Tax (300).
• In the Select Payment Mode section, choose Payment Gateway.
• Select an authorized bank gateway and pick UPI as your payment method.
• Enter your UPI ID or scan the QR code to complete the transaction safely.
