How to make a UPI ID?

To make a UPI ID, download a UPI-enabled mobile application and link it to your bank account using your registered mobile number. Follow these steps:

• Open the app and verify your mobile number via SMS.
• Select your bank from the provided list to fetch your account details.
• Set a secure UPI PIN using your debit card details (last six digits and expiry date).
• Once verified, your unique UPI ID, also known as a Virtual Payment Address (VPA), will be generated automatically or can be customized.
