How to find an account number using a UPI ID?

You cannot directly find a full bank account number using only a UPI ID. The UPI system, governed by NPCI, is designed to protect user privacy by using a Virtual Payment Address as a secure proxy, preventing the disclosure of sensitive banking details to others. To find your own linked account number, you can:

• Check the Profile or Bank Account section within your UPI application.
• Refer to your physical bank passbook, cheque book, or a recent bank statement.
• Log in to your bank official internet banking portal or mobile banking app.
