How to increase the BHIM UPI transfer limit?

You cannot directly increase the standard NPCI daily limit of ₹1 lakh within the BHIM app. To manage or potentially increase your limit, consider these steps:

• Contact your bank: Individual banks may set lower limits than the NPCI standard; you can request them to enable the maximum allowed limit for your account.
• Specific Categories: Use UPI for verified sectors like hospitals or educational institutions, where the limit is extended up to ₹5 lakh.
• Cooling Period: New users must wait 24 hours for the initial ₹5,000 security cap to lift.
