How many UPI IDs can I have?

You can have multiple UPI IDs linked to a single bank account or different accounts. While there is no strict universal limit set by NPCI, the number of IDs typically depends on the following:

• Payment Applications: Each app you use can generate one or more unique UPI IDs for the same bank account.
• Bank Policies: Most banks allow you to create up to 3 to 4 UPI IDs per account within a single application to ensure better transaction success rates.
• Multiple Accounts: If you have accounts with different banks, you can have separate IDs for each.
