How does a merchant's maximum UPI limit differ from a user's

For users, the daily UPI limit is ₹1 lakh. However, for certain merchant payments like those to capital markets, mutual funds, or for credit card bills and loan repayments, the limit can be ₹2 lakh per transaction. IPO applications using UPI can even go up to ₹5 lakh per transaction. These limits are set by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).
