How do I open my UPI account?

To open your UPI account, you need to download a UPI mobile payment application, such as Paytm, on your smartphone. Open the app and enter your mobile number, ensuring it matches the number registered with your bank. Verify the number via SMS, select your bank, and the app will fetch your bank details. For first-time linking, you will be prompted to create a UPI PIN using your debit card information. Once completed, your bank account is linked via UPI.
