where to apply for pan card

You can apply for a Permanent Account Number (PAN) card through both online and offline channels managed by government-authorized entities.

• Online application is available through the Income Tax e-Filing Portal for Instant e-PAN (for individuals with Aadhaar-linked mobile numbers), the Protean eGov Technologies (formerly NSDL) portal, and the UTIITSL portal.
• To apply offline, obtain and submit the physical Form 49A or 49AA at your nearest PAN centre or TIN Facility Centre.
