You can open a PAN card through the official online portals of Protean (formerly NSDL) or UTIITSL, or by using the Income Tax e-Filing Portal for an Instant e-PAN.

• Visit an authorized portal and select the application form (Form 49A for Indian citizens).
• Fill out the form with personal details, including your Aadhaar number, and choose your preferred submission method.
• For a paperless process, select e-KYC or e-Sign and authenticate using an Aadhaar-linked mobile number's OTP.
• Pay the application fee online using a credit/debit card, net banking, or other available options.
• Upon successful submission and verification, your e-PAN is sent to your registered email ID.
