how to deactivate pan card online
To deactivate or surrender an additional PAN card online, you must use the official portal.
- Visit the NSDL e-Gov or Protean PAN portal.
- Select the "Changes or Correction in existing PAN Data/ Reprint of PAN card" application type.
- Fill out the form, mentioning the PAN you wish to retain on top and listing the duplicate PAN(s) for cancellation under the "Other Permanent Account Numbers" section (Item No. 11).
- Submit the form, complete the online payment, and keep the acknowledgement number for tracking the cancellation status.
