You can check your PAN card application status online using the official portals of the entity you applied through, such as NSDL (now Protean) or UTIITSL.

• To track on the NSDL (Protean) website, you need to select "PAN - New/Change Request" and enter your 15-digit acknowledgement number.
• For UTIITSL, you can check with your Application Coupon number, or your PAN number if you applied for a change/correction.

Alternatively, you can track the status by sending an SMS with 'NSDLPAN' followed by your acknowledgement number to 57575 or by calling the TIN call centre on 020-27218080. If your e-PAN was applied for instantly, check the Income Tax e-filing portal using your Aadhaar number.
