how to add initial in pan card

Generally, initials are not permitted in the full name field when applying for or requesting a correction on a PAN card. The application forms require your full, expanded name exactly as it appears on your identity and address proofs. However, you can use initials or an abbreviated version for your first and middle names in the separate 'Name you would like printed on the PAN card' field, but your surname/last name must be present and fully spelled out. To apply for a name change or correction, you must submit the 'Request for New PAN Card or/and Changes or Correction in PAN Data' form through the official Protean or UTIITSL portal and select the corresponding correction box.
