Pan Card

how to invest without pan card

Generally, investing in most financial instruments in India, such as stocks, shares, mutual funds, and Demat accounts, is not possible without a Permanent Account Number (PAN) card due to mandatory SEBI and KYC requirements. However, there are a few exceptions: a Demat account for a minor can be opened using the guardian's PAN card. Also, individuals belonging to certain Scheduled Tribes in the North Eastern states may be allowed to invest in securities up to a limit of ₹50,000 without a PAN, upon submitting alternative proof of identity and residence.
