What happens if my FASTag is damaged?

If your FASTag is damaged, it won't scan at tolls and you may need to pay cash. In this case, contact your issuing bank or provider, block the damaged tag, and request a replacement. After paying a small fee (₹100–₹200), you'll get a new FASTag linked to your vehicle, with your old balance transferred. Remove the damaged tag and stick the new one on your windshield.
