If you lose your driving licence, you must immediately:

• File a First Information Report (FIR) at the nearest police station and keep a copy.
• Apply for a duplicate driving licence. This can be done online through the Sarathi Parivahan website or offline by visiting the Regional Transport Office (RTO) that issued your original licence.
• You will need the FIR copy, Form LLD, proof of identity and address, and passport-sized photos for the application.
• The duplicate licence will be issued after verification.
