If your driving licence is lost or stolen, you must first file a First Information Report (FIR) at your nearest police station. The next step is to apply for a duplicate licence either online via the Parivahan Sewa portal or offline at your RTO.
- Obtain a copy of the FIR.
- Fill out the LLD application form.
- Submit required documents like age and address proof, and passport-sized photos.
- Pay the prescribed duplicate driving licence fee, which typically ranges from ₹200 to ₹500.
You can use the FIR copy or acknowledgement receipt as temporary proof until your duplicate licence is issued.
