Credit Card Bill

How to foreclose a credit card EMI?

To foreclose a credit card EMI, you must pay off the entire outstanding principal amount before the end of the loan tenure. You can generally initiate this process through your bank's mobile app or net banking portal under the EMI or credit card services section. Alternatively, you may contact your bank's customer service. Please note that most Indian banks levy a foreclosure fee, typically ranging from 2% to 3% of the remaining principal, along with applicable GST. Once the payment is processed, the bank will close the EMI and update your credit limit.
